68 ASTLEY Dipping our toes into the world of luxurious rugs. During our trip to India and working with the craftsmen to create Artius. We visited a wonderful supplier of hand-knotted luxurious rugs. The designs were stunning and the ethos behind their business only made the product more desirable. Therefore, we bought a very select number of these stunning rugs to gauge a reaction. Would these beautiful rugs be desirable and enhance the Astley Collection? We believe they do and the reaction from our customers has surpassed our expectations. Hand knotted, using a mix of the finest yarns, (bamboo silk, wool, and cotton). Each finished rug has passed through the hands of artisans. From the dyeing of the yarns, though to the meticulous construction, and finishing. They are a beautiful blend of colours and effects, that will add a luxurious finish to any room. Introducing rugs into the Astley Collection, allows us to add texture, elegant patterns and considered colours that can unify an interior scheme. Working harmoniously with our products.
